Given I have a close affiliation with the Australian Severe Weather Association (ASWA), and take so much pride in it, I felt as if I had to give a small page on my site to help with their aims and objectives!

ASWA assists in raising public awareness about severe related phenomena.  We also assist the BoM where possible, and help with databasing and logging of events with reports.

ASWA consists of a couple of hundred members, both throughout Australia and internationally.  Most of the states have monthly meetings, I attend all religiously!  Have a look at the ASWA website (click on their logo), I helped in the content of it - it has some great stuff, and a good description of ASWA with their aims and objectivies.
