A list of chases are below:

  • 2007 August Low: An intense low pressure system produced tropical-cyclone like conditions along the coast.  We stood outside and experienced it!
  • 2007 September 22: A short chase near home during the afternoon – and then a long adventure at night, with cars sliding off the road from hail and kilometers upon kilometers of landscape buried in hail.
  • 2007 September 27: A supercell near Beaudesert produced some impressive lowerings but weakened upon approach to Brisbane.
  • 2007 September 29: A quick jaunt into Wide Bay produced some brief bursts of nice lightning.
  • 2007 October 7: A line of storms intensified at dusk producing an impressive lightning display from Archerfield.
  • 2007 October 8: Once again, activity developed late and resulted in impressive evening lightning.
  • 2007 October 9: One of the highlights of the season – a supercell developed near Marburg and approached the Esk region.  Massive RFBs, strong winds, hail and an incredible wall cloud!
  • 2007 October 10: A supercell developed near Dalby and we tracked it on the way to Kingaroy – plenty of awesome timelapse!
  • 2007 October 11: A high based storm made for some great timelapse!
  • 2007 October 12: Plenty of shear gave fast moving storms with no shortage of eye-candy!
  • 2007 October 26: Some nice updrafts and timelapse.
  • 2007 October 28: Lightning and severe winds near Beaudesert.
  • 2007 October 29: Some great lightning right across from Beaudesert up to Brisbane.
  • 2007 October 31: Storms slowly prorogated westwards and one became dominant late in the afternoon producing a glorious wall cloud.
  • 2007 November 1: Some impressive timelapse of significant lowerings early in the afternoon.
  • 2007 November 2: Timelapse of a weak guster near Beaudesert.
  • TDU Day 1: What was originally going to be a “fun” intercept in outback Queensland became unexpectedly scary when we were caught in a destructive microburst that saw shrubs literally get torn apart in front of us!
  • TDU Day 2: A slow start to the day, but a very photogenic squall line developed giving a beautiful gust front.
  • TDU Day 3: Stuck on the wrong side of the floodwaters, we had to pay a tow truck to carry us across or take a 1000km detour!
  • TDU Day 4: A line of storms peaked early in the afternoon bringing a decent guster with plenty of dust before blowing out.
  • TDU Day 5: At least one (possibly 2) supercells developed near Kingaroy and moved northwards.  We drove between the storms and had a great view of both, of which the second became quite impressive!
  • 2007 December 11: Some great timelapse of a developing guster in the Brisbane Valley which became very nice!
  • 2007 Dave Floods: Dave took some footage of the floods while I was stuck overseas.
  • TDU Day 6: The highlight of the season!  A spectacular supercell developed near Tamworth and moved northwards into the Tablelands.  Some incredible footage!
  • 2008 Jan Flooding: Heading out late at night, myself and two friends headed out towards my old haunting grounds to take some video of receding flood waters.
  • 2008 February 02: An exciting day near Caboolture – spectacular timelapse of a developing gustfront that soon became a very photogenic beast!
  • 2008 February 03: A small storm SW of Brisbane became supercellular late in the afternoon bringing down trees in the southwestern suburbs.
  • 2008 February 04: Starting on the Sunshine Coast, we chased a line of storms from Noosa up to Hervey Bay.
  • 2008 February Assorted: Some assorted video footage from various days in February.
  • 2008 March Brisbane: A thunderstorm broke off from the main line and moved northwards through the suburbs of Brisbane – includes some spectacular timelapse!
  • 2008 May Chase: A late season storm chase ending with a sunset storm timelapse.
  • 2007 December 8: An Extension of TDU, some brief footage of thunderstorms over the NW Slopes & Plains.
  • 2007 December 9: The day commenced with spectacular updrafts – and finally storms consolidated south of Texas bringing some impressive daytime lightning and an incredible night time lightning-illuminated gust front!
  • Tamworth Supercell Damage: Some brief damage from the Tamworth supercell.
  • Highlights Promo Video: The promo video (put to music from the movie Armageddon) for this DVD!
  • 2007 Snow Chase: At the last minute I decided to add an exciting snow chase near Tenterfield that occurred in June 2007.
