The first chase of the season, a high based yet somewhat photogenic and small hailstorm that went through Ipswich.

The first chase of the season is always exciting! A little dry, but a nice storm developed southwest of Ipswich and moved over bringing plenty of 1-2cm hail, a decent little guster and some nice updrafts. A few photos are below of the storm.
One thing that did concern me though was the way people reacted when the hail occured. There were people swerving and diving off the road! People were cutting in front of other cars and skidding off the road to try and park underneath trees - absolutely crazy! Only small hail, and as I always tell people. People are much harder to fix than cars.
