Weather & Chasing Humour!  More to come soon...

Is this the worst number plate possible!?

After coming down an old deserted road from a small town in the Downs, I was amused to see a speed limit sign of '100' (from the previous speed limit of 80) about 20m before a give-way sign for a T-instersection!!!

Now surely you didn't want any choices did you???  (A sign at Glen Innes, a town between Brisbane and Sydney...about 1050km apart on the New England Hwy.)

Awfully warm and humid in Melbourne and Sydney!  An awfully low pressure too!

In October, 2001, Chris Gribben, Matthew Pearce and myself set out to create some public-friendly, weather profanities to be used in place of the current taboo profanities to ensure that all future storm chase videos receive a G rating.  Here is the selection that was created:

Shivering Supercells
Hurtling Hurricanes
Blistering Barnacles
Whirling Willy Willies
Horizontal Hailstones
Chuckling Cumulonimbi
Sleeping Stratocumulus
Fluttering Funnels
Magnificent Mesos
Vomitious Virga
Cycling Cyclones
