Back to Thunder Downunder 2001 Chase Reports

Nov 28, "A Day of Travels"

We headed down to Quirindi and decided to meet up with the other Victorian chasers and sit on top of a good lookout with 360 degree views.  It was very unlikely that something would happen, but if it did it would be extremely weak, so decided that we would watch it from the lookout.

Group discussion - "How much nothing will happen today?"

We setup for lunch and the afternoon and played cricket for most of the afternoon, before eventually leaving during the afternoon and we headed towards Mudgee to get accomodation and set ourselves in position for the following day which was looking quite good!

That night in Mudgee was certainly one of a kind!  Was a great night, with perhaps the best quote coming from Doc... "Will you please stop throwing pieces of furniture around the room!?"  Well - that set us off again, as we were all lying in beds joking around and hiding each others sleeping apparrell!  A sign of a brief SDS perhaps???
