A small hailstorm produced a few nice lowerings, gustfront and afterwards a spectacular sunset at my home!

Absolutely explosive updrafts on a severe pulsestorm that went near Rosewood bringing down quite a few trees.

A nice (marginally severe) hailstorm moved over our house, followed by some nice lightning in the evening.

This afternoon brought pulse storms that gave severe dry microbursts and nice lightning!  The winds were so strong I nearly got blown over several times!

After a slow start, one storm gave some spectacular daytime lightning near Kyogle in NE NSW!

This was the BEST lightning show I have ever witnessed in my life!!!  I took several rolls of film and virtually every shot had CGs in it, it was the perfect lightning display!

Another squall line developed, this time during the afternoon.  A possible embedded supercell gave wind gusts to 120km/h at the airport with some awesome greenage!

A nice squall line came through during the evening bringing down trees and destroys sheds in parts of SE QLD.

The grand finale!!!  One of the most awesome storms I've ever chased!  A spectacular supercell rolled through southern Brisbane, with many suburbs resembling a war zone afterwards.  Incredible structure!!!

The northern NSW Slopes put on a lovely show with late storm development continuing into the evening giving a nice lightning display.

Never before had I witnessed such an awesome sunset!  Awesome mammatus, another squall line producing a spectacular gustfront and then an awesome crawler display.

Several supercells developed through SE QLD, many with spectacular structure!  One of the better days, but storms developed close to the coast.

This was an unexpected!  We encountered a stationary supercell over the Coolah Tops that produced a brief tornado and some spectacular lightning!

A SE change pushed up the coast early, but still managed to produce some nice storms that moved through Brisbane.  Some great updraft development, and extremely heavy rain!

Pulse storms developed on the Granite Belt and provided some entertainment for the afternoon.  Larger storms developed on the Tablelands and provided some nice structure

Spectacular lightning continued to be a theme - dry air and very slow moving storms gave an awesome CG lightning show that lasted for many hours in the evening!

Pulse storms developed on the Downs and were quite lightning active once again - but a squall line from the south stole the show giving a spectacular night lightning display!

The cloud cleared on the Downs and some nice very lightning active storms developed, eventually developing into a supercell hailstorm over the Brisbane Valley with some spectacular close lightning and hail!

Awesome mammatus, brilliant rainbow, CG's and a fantastic guster - what more could you want to finish off the day?  Wide Bay produced a great squall line that evening with a great lightning show to top it off!

A storm of a different kind - a duststorm invaded the normally humid and sub-tropical city of Brisbane, something I'd never experienced before!

After nearly 600km and 8hrs on the road, some storms finally developed near Moree and made it across to Guyra-Glen Innes producing some nice structure!

Storms took a while to develop, but one cell developed and sat on the S'ly boundary and became supercellular and severe, produced golfball hail at Jimboomba that was setting off the car alarms!!!
